Atlanta Zine Library

The Atlanta Zine Library started in 2012 as a small collection that has grown to approximately 2000 titles across the past thirty years, with a focus on Southern zines.

A zine (/ˈziːn/ zeen; an abbreviation of fanzine, or magazine) is most commonly a small circulation self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images traditionally reproduced via photocopier, but we encourage zines made on computers and printed by print shops.

Also, while they are informed by anarchopunk and DIY ethos, we recognize that the DIY ethos has often excluded Black folks and others of color, and eschew that ethos to broaden opportunity and access to small print/press.

The public collection is available at Hodgepodge Coffee on Moreland Avenue in East Atlanta Village.

Due to COVID, the collection is not available to the public at this time, but we do have a catalogue available below.
